The government is part of the top 1% or they are making a good living off the top 1% who are keeping them where they are by funding their political party.

They want the populous to be scared so what they do is make you mortgage your house, and then they turn up the interest rates.
If the economy fails they have to cut, cut public sector jobs and cut social programmes. Despite this they allow the “private companies” that supply energy, but are owned by their mates, to increase the cost of gas, water and electric. They “unfortunately” have to increase the council tax too and the price of petrol flies through the roof and the TV license has to go up despite cuts at the Beeb and the price of food which is imported by their mates and sold to us by supermarkets who’s chief executives and directors are also MPs or friends of MPs… and we just take it, we take it up the arse AND we say thank you. We are the idiots, not me but you. I knew this shit ages ago, wake up!
Then the bankers who are friends with the democratically elected representatives of this land of ours cause the economy to crash, they try to make themselves richer than rich and they fail, but they settle for pulling out at just rich and walking away, then the government bail them out by paying off their debt and making it public debt, what me and you owe, and the bankers come back to work to do it all again, already rich but hey they’ve got jobs to do.
Then we are told that we have a recession and times are going to be hard. WE ARE TOLD THAT. The people, who just walk the streets, do the day jobs, pay the taxes and spend money in shops. Millions of us spending small amounts, but it’s still tens of millions every day. We carry on… and they want us to. They want us to save the pennies and spend them at Xmas and they want us to pay the bills, struggle and do our best because that’s what we do. We try to do our best. We want to pay the man, we want to keep our heads above water, but they just want us where they want us, and they’ve got us where they fucking well want us. They are the few who get rich and then get richer, they play Monopoly with us. We’re like the £1 note in the monopoly board… nothing to them. They toss them in and out of the game by the million and they don’t care for the units. We allow the system because they have taken over democracy, we cannot argue because we vote, apparently it’s “our fault”. We vote for their mates who get elected time and time again. When their mates retire or fail to get the votes they just move in to befriend the new MP’s and they buy it and so it all goes on. They buy power, who or what ever it takes.
That’s democracy.
Or at least it is in Britain today.
It’s pauper slavery, black, white, what-ever, we’re all slaves to these rich cunts and they care for you not a single jot.

Spot on, as usual. The only people the government cares about are MPs. Parliament was set up to represent the population but that has fallen by the wayside. Not one of them knows what it’s like to live like one of us and deal with our worries.
With the spread of the Wall Street protests this weekend to cities around the world I think we have yet to see the real backlash from the normal people when it comes to bankers and the failure of the government to act to protect the interests of the many not the few.
